We’re Back!

For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.”

Matthew 18:20

We gathered INSIDE our church building today… And boy was it awesome! It’s been 7 really long months since going to church has been normal.

We spent four months watching online during quarantine and we’ve attended outdoor services for the past two months. That was just a small step in the direction of normalcy. Today was a big deal! Stella was so pumped to go to her classroom that she willingly wore her mask the whole time. 🙌🏻

As always, the sermon was one to remember, and words were said that will stick with me this week as I go to work and do all the things.

I don’t get into politics here and I’m certainly not going to start now. But I will share that I [like many others] have been saddened by the words and opinions being thrown around this week regarding our President. It doesn’t matter what political party you’re a part of… bottom line is that we should never wish the worst for someone.

Today as a church we specifically prayed for our President and the First Lady because that’s the right thing to do. We choose to live and love like GOD.

Here is what stuck with me the most this week: “It doesn’t matter who wins the election.. what matters the most is that GOD still rules the throne.”

Be like my girl Stella. Life just got even more normal. She doesn’t care about who runs this country. She knows that her GOD is the ruler of all things.

XO
